We know that your hygiene radar is high because your choice to use a bidet. At Bidet Warehouse we have a high radar too, that’s why when we came across SOAP AID we were totally in tune with their ambitions to bring higher hygiene to where it’s needed most in the world.

Handwashing with soap to improve hygiene practices is a simple, effective way to save lives. Hand hygiene has a dramatic impact on preventing deaths and illnesses caused by trachoma, worm infections, chronic malnutrition, swine flu, pneumonia, SARs, neo-mortality and diarrhea. The benefits of handwashing with soap extend beyond improvements to health. Good hygiene removes barriers to education, nutrition, economic opportunity and equity. Children are healthier, have less missed school days and have improved education outcomes.

Handwashing with soap and improved hygiene practices is a simple, effective way to save lives.

“Half of the 9,000 children that are estimated to die from diseases such as diarrhoea and pneumonia every day in our poorest countries could be saved by the routine use of handwashing with soap.”

The accommodation industry uses millions of bars of soap every year that go into landfill. SOAP AID’s Hotel to Hands Program saves thousands of these bars of soap from landfill and recycles and redirects soap to save lives.

Soap Aid works directly with local community impact partners to ensure the ongoing supply of soap and vital hygiene education.

Soap Aid partner with organisations, NGOs, government departments and other charities who are already engaged in communities to educate children and families on the use of handwashing with soap.

They are proud to have supplied our soap to remote Aboriginal communities in Western Australia, Northern Territory, South Australia, and targeted communities around the world.

  • Every year 1. 5 Million children die from hygiene related diseases
  • 3 in 10 people around the world do not have access to a bar of soap!
  • Regular washing of hands with a bar of soap reduces hygiene related diseases by 40%! Including reducing pneumonia, diarrhoeal diseases, influenza, Trachoma and skin infections.
